Cutting is a very important operation to be carried out before examining a metallographic sample. It determines the exact zone to be checked. During the sectioning step it is essential not to damage or alter the structure of the material to be examined. LAM PLAN offers you a range of cutting machines that provide your samples from overheating during the cutting Sectioning. Also available, high quality cut-off wheel suitable for each material.

Cut-off wheel

Cut-off wheel : aluminium oxyde silicon carbide, diamond. Low wear and consistent results. Use of series 720 cutting fluid to reduce overheating.
